Follow both milestones and events
Resident growth generally opens the food shop, clothing shop, interiors, decorations, workshop/news and then market/restaurant features. Keep helping with requests as you add residents.
Friendship requirements count relationships, not residents: two friendships and ten friendships do not mean two or ten Miis.
The Ferris Wheel opens after a first confession; the confession does not have to succeed. A treasure won from a resident minigame opens Rite Price.
Homes and custom buildings
A single home accompanies a new resident. A shared home follows an accepted move-in request, rather than being a daily shop item.
Custom building appearances, decorations and interior sets are not separate facilities in this list. The previous game’s Concert Hall is not part of these Living the Dream facility categories.
