How many Miis can live on my island?
The full game supports up to 70 Miis on one island; the Welcome Version demo supports three. The limit of eight Miis sharing a home is separate from the island’s total resident limit.

Can I have more than one island?
Each console user gets one save and their own island. Different users on the same console can have separate islands. To start again while keeping your original island, play with another console user instead of deleting the existing save.
Multiple islandsHow do I transfer my demo save?
The free Welcome Version lets you create up to three Miis. Keep its save data on the console, then start the full game with the same user and accept the transfer prompt to continue your island.
